Another nifty gadget is the Oma Sense Baby Breathing Movement Monitor. This is a wearable baby monitor that clips on the front of your baby’s outfit while their sleeping. It senses your little one’s breathing pattern and if abdominal movements are not sensed in 15 seconds it will vibrate to stimulate your baby and alarm. When a baby stops breathing in the NICU the first measure taken is to stimulate the baby. Talk about smart technology. There are similar products on Amazon, but I this is the only product I see that vibrates to stimulate the baby.
